The residence for the trip when there are twelve of you. Five bedrooms over two floors, each with its own bathroom — so two families, or three generations, share a roof without ever sharing a sink. The balcony faces south, over the piste — where the first drink happens once the lifts stop and the boots come off. Breakfast arrives at the door each morning. The car waits in the garage below. The snow is at the back of the building.
